Who is Ileana Schinder?
I am an architect, I design homes.
My designs bring spaces to life. I add exceptional value to projects through a creative design process, construction ideas and conscious planning.
As a house whisperer of sorts, I have worked on a wide range of building types, from tiny galley kitchens to whole house renovations.
I tailor my services to meet the unique needs of every client to fit their budget and timeline.
I have nurtured my passion for architecture since first hearing the click of LEGO bricks at the age of 4. Two decades later, I graduated with a B.A. in Architecture from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba (Argentina) and an M.A. in Communications from American University in Washington, D.C.
I am licensed to practice architecture in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland. I am a LEED accredited professional and a Passive House Design Consultant.
I live in Washington, D.C. with my husband, two children and Cecilia, the dog.
